Women only account for a fraction of the elected officials in the United States. This means laws that affect women lack a female voice. Girls Lead KC works to solve this problem through empowering young women. Established in 2021 through the Social Change Internship, Annie, Elise and Kripa have been working to inspire young women to pursue a career in politics through workshops.

The Eye of An Immigrant began as a storytelling campaign, through our Social Change Internship, that aimed to provide immigrants and first-generation immigrants a platform to share their stories on. Now, Komal and Jasneet hope to leave a greater impact and provide resources to help immigrant families address a multitude of issues.
