Building Empathy for Users

Where do you think good ideas come from? In this video, you will learn how to build empathy for users, the critical first step in coming up with great solutions to a problem.

Here’s what we’ll cover in this video:

#1: First, you’ll learn how to deeply understand your users by understanding how they experience a problem, or understanding their “pain points.”

#2: Then, you’ll learn how to interview, survey, or observe users to gather more data.

#3: Finally, you’ll understand why it’s important to focus on users, rather than stakeholders, at this phase. By the end of this video, you will understand why empathy is at the center of the design thinking process.
