Social Change internship

Brand awareness, consumer engagement and attendance to farmers markets.

All of these are topics our interns have tackled while working for three different businesses this summer.

Join us for a night of learning and celebration as the interns showcase their views on these topics and how they are working to solve them.

The Showcase

Our interns have worked with 3 area businesses to utilize the Design Thinking process in order to creatively solve problems. Through our 5 week internship as part of the PROX program, students utilize design thinking to research who is already working to solve these problems and what kind of new solutions can be created that are human centered. The showcase is a night of celebration and learning where our interns will pitch their solutions to the public. While the showcase is the end of their internship it is not the end of the work these interns will do. Many will go on to work to implement their solutions with some working in their communities or collaborating with local politicians and some even starting their own non-profits.

Get involved

Experiences and stories like these are born in the minds of our young people, but need a supportive community to help them grow into solutions. We invite you to join us and support these stories with your presence at the showcase. However if you can’t make it you can still support programs like these by making a donation.
